Shakira inaugurará los Juegos Barranquilla 2018

“MUY PRONTO ESTARÉ CANTANDO EN MI CASA Y PARA MI GENTE EN LOS JUEGOS CENTROAMERICANOS Y DEL CARIBE”, DECLARÓ.
La cantante Shakira será una de las protagonistas de la ceremonia de inauguración de los XXIII Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe Barranquilla 2018, que se realizará el próximo 19 de julio, según confirmaron la artista y el alcalde de la ciudad, Alejandro Char.
“Muy pronto estaré cantando en mi casa y para mi gente en los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe que se celebran en el rincón del mundo que más quiero, Barranquilla”, publicó Shakira en su cuenta de Twitter.
Por su parte el alcalde Char respondió en la misma red: “Sólo una cosa faltaba para que los Juegos Barranquilla 2018 fueran inolvidables y es la noticia que estábamos esperando, Shakira será nuestra gran anfitriona en la inauguración”.
El mandatario local también publicó un vídeo en el que agradece a la artista barranquillera su presencia en la inauguración de los juegos, que se disputarán del 19 de julio al 3 de agosto.
“Gracias Shakira por aceptar nuestra invitación de estar en la inauguración de los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe en Barranquilla. Felices estamos todos los colombianos y por supuesto todos los barranquilleros, de esa gran fiesta deportiva donde Barranquilla brillará ante el mundo y tú serás nuestro sol. En nombre de todos los barranquilleros este beso por aceptar nuestro cariño y nuestra invitación”, dijo Chal Chaljub en el vídeo.
De acuerdo con el comité organizador de los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe, en Barranquilla 2018 se darán cita 5,580 atletas de 38 países en competencia en 36 deportes y 47 disciplinas.
Es la segunda vez que la ciudad de Barranquilla realizará los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe luego de que los organizará en 1946.EFE.
