La logística para que los adultos mayores recojan el subsidio del programa, la deben garantizar los alcaldes.
Desde el miércoles 25 de marzo hasta hoy hemos entregado 430 mil subsidios de $80 mil pesos a los adultos mayores, lo que equivale al 28% del total correspondiente al mes de marzo, señaló el Ministro del Trabajo, Ángel Custodio Cabrera
Los adultos mayores recibirán el pago excepcional del subsidio de abril y mayo, por 160 mil pesos, desde el lunes 6 de abril del 2020, confirmó el titular de la cartera laboral.
Autorizar solamente a un familiar cercano o tercero de su confianza, el cual debe presentar autorización en original y firmada por el beneficiario, así como las cédulas de ciudadanías del que autoriza y del que reclama, hacen parte de las nuevas reglas que socializa el Ministerio del Trabajo, para que se pueda reclamar el subsidio de los adultos mayores inscritos en el programa Colombia Mayor.
Así mismo, aclara que ya no se exigirá fotocopia de la cédula del beneficiario y que el operador de pagos debe validar la identidad de la persona autorizada para cobrar el subsidio en nombre del Adulto Mayor y solicitar firma y huella del tercero autorizado, la cual será enrolada a través del sistema biométrico para proceder a realizar el desembolso.
En la circular 025, que firma el ministro del Trabajo, Ángel Custodio Cabrera, se recuerda al Administrador Fiduciario del Fondo de Solidaridad Pensional, Fiduagraria, a los Alcaldes y Gobernadores, que los nuevos lineamientos se imparten con el fin de garantizar la recepción del subsidio a los beneficiarios del programa Colombia Mayor y hacen parte de las medidas temporales con ocasión de la fase de contención frente al covid-19 y de la declaración de emergencia económica, social y ecológica.
Así mismo, pretende evitar desplazamientos innecesarios, aglomeraciones y concentraciones en los sitios de pago y largas filas que pueden generar riesgo de contagio de esta población vulnerable, por lo que se reitera a los Alcaldes y Gobernadores, que a través de sus facultades de orden público y salubridad pública, establezcan cronogramas especiales y definir estrategias, dentro de sus competencias, para distribuir a los Adultos Mayores, ya sea por nombre/apellido y/o número de cédula y/o lugar de residencia y/o edad, etc.
Como se publicó anteriormente, desde el pasado miércoles 25 de marzo, los adultos mayores beneficiarios del programa Colombia Mayor, empezaron a recibir los 80 mil pesos mensuales correspondientes al subsidio del mes de marzo. Lo asignado por los meses de abril y mayo, o sea, 160 mil pesos, se entregarán como pago excepcional desde el lunes 6 de abril, según lo anunciado por el presidente de la República, Iván Duque Márquez.
